Circuits
30 famous passages, shortest first, each in the public domain and credited to its work and author (sources on the Credits page). The circuit of the week is a rotation through this list, the same for everyone, not a ranking; it changes every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

How Time Attack works
Practice for everyone, with no account: nothing here is sent anywhere or ranked.
One text, one record
Your record on a circuit is your fastest clean run of that passage. Times compare only on the same text, never across circuits.
Clean runs only
A run sets a record when it finishes with every word correct and at least95% accuracy. Every other run is practice and never touches the record.
Known text
Anyone can practise these passages, so a circuit time measures a rehearsed text, not a first read. Sprint and Grand Prix use fresh words every run.
Circuit of the week
One circuit is featured each week, in a fixed rotation through the open circuits. It is the same for everyone and it is not a ranking.
